Author description

I am the author of the book 'Secrets of Online Entrepreneurs', a Wiley book that was published in 2015. It has been declared a 'bestseller' and is now in its second reprint. I am the person to write this new book because I am able to build upon the following I have already created with the first book and take those readers on the next stage of the start-up journey. In my role as the 'interviewer/commentator', and as a result of the success of the first book, I have direct access to the thought-leaders on these topics and can now go back to them and revisit the topics. This will enable me to provide a perspective ('before and after', so to speak) and have them reflect on what has happened since I interviewed them. For example, as a result of interviewing the US-based Head of Innovation at CiSCO, (the world's thought-leader on the topic of the Internet of Things) I now have access to his team of experts in Australia who are ready and willing to provide guidance and insights into the newest developments on how the Internet of Things will play out in Australia. In addition, I will draw on my role as judge at the recent ORIAs (Online Retailers Industry Awards) and Anthill Cool Company Awards and share my insights on how some of the best, most awarded digital start-ups are using the latest technology.
